My lifelong passion for music ignited a young curiosity within me to understand how instruments were built. Growing up outside of Chicago, I spent countless hours tinkering and repairing anything I could get my hands on. This natural inclination led me to the Roberto-Venn School of Luthiery in Phoenix, AZ, where I immersed myself in the art and science of guitar construction.

Five formative years at Santa Cruz Guitar Company refined my skills and deepened my appreciation for the instrument. Since then, I've dedicated myself to building and repairing instruments in my home shop.
